Come and enjoy the garden
The design features
The garden is divided into three sections. From the car parking area, there is a shaded area which has a wonderful display of hellebore and daffodils in the spring.
The pathway up to the front door draws the eye up to the courtyard tropical garden framed on each side by oak and steel archways lined with holly oaks and olives trees grown as a hedge.
The main garden with its raised sun deck has two loungers for guests and overlooks Manorbier Castle and the Pembrokeshire Coast.
Guests can enjoy the patio area for afternoon tea or relax spending the day out and about in Pembrokeshire before going out to supper in Manorbier, or having a picnic/barbeque at the beach (weather and high tide permitting)!
The Wind Elipse Sculpture
I commissioned this kinetic sculpture in 2012 by my friend and local artist Ivan Black . I wanted this to enhance an area of the garden which would be of interest to guests whilst sitting in the garden, dining room or guest sitting room. It changes in the light and weather throughout the day each section moving independently from each other so that it does not detract from the view of the castle.
